How to Play Rush Poker Online

The Full Tilt Poker game has exploded on to the scene recently, but what's the best way to maximise your profits from the high-paced action?  Christian 'Bainn' Briggs finds out.

FullTilt provided poker players with a fresh, new high with their release of "Rushpoker", but don't think it is a mere gimmick as it can provide an avenue to decent profit as long as you approach it correctly. Rushpoker can also be used as a practice tool because at the core of this game is the simple fact you will be making decisions all the time, from the simple "Play/Fold" to the more complex "Position/Raise" processes, and thus you will be able to try a large amount of different plays in a relatively short time.

My first plan when tackling this game is to modify your session time by reducing how long you play. In a fairly standard ring game you will be spending a lot of the time folding while waiting for hands or situations to play, Rushpoker requires you to be observant and to be thinking all the time & you will get tired quicker. Start off by playing in 60min blocks particularly if you wish to multitable and adjust from there, you may feel comfortable playing for 3+ hours normally but you may find your endurance tested in this game. I have found that multitabling the limit games is much easier than the no limit games, there is no thought required about your bet sizing.

With the above facets of this game in mind, I always approach a Rush session fresh and with no distractions. It will be the first session of my day and I will take a good break between sessions, making sure I am away from my pc. You may habitually watch television or browse the internet searching the various poker for but at first, just focus on this exciting game.
