3 Card Poker Tips

Few tips to focus on when playing 3 card poker:

Every casino is different. This is especially true when dealing with the online breed. You'll find that minimum bets vary from one casino to another and some employ special rules for their 3 card poker games that others don't. Before you play, be sure you know all the rules so that you can adjust your strategy accordingly.

Bankroll your play. Know in advance how much you're willing to lose - that's your bankroll. When you sit down to play, you should have a set amount to play with and when you've hit that mark, its time to walk away.

Be conservative. Playing 3 card poker can be fun and exciting, but it can also become addicting. Be sure you maintain a realistic perspective to avoid getting in over your head.
Take a break. Every twenty to thirty minutes, take a breather and see where you stand. Are you becoming tense and frustrated? Or are things going along smoothly? Make sure you impose a regular reality check.

Face reality. You are not the master. That's not to say that you're not good or even great - you might very well be. But no matter how good you might be, we all hit a slump every now and then. Know when to cut your losses, regardless of how well you might normally play.

Start small. Get your feet wet first by playing smaller games instead of diving in head first.
Take advantage of bonuses. Some online casinos offer bonuses to new players. Take advantage of this and spend less of your own money.

Pick your game wisely. Know the stakes and evaluate the play. Is it worth your time to play at this casino?

Set a time limit. While it might seem unspeakable to suggest that you walk away from a winning streak, 14 hours at a casino table, land based or otherwise, is simply not healthy. Take your regular breaks from playing 3 card poker, by all means but don't let them substitute for a regular sleeping schedule.

Stay sober. This might sound like a given but that doesn't mean its not worth repeating. It's easy to spend money when you've been drinking - so much so that many casinos comp the bar bill to their big spenders. But if you want to win, you'll need a clear head and a sharp mind, both of which are seriously diluted by too much alcohol.
